Will they be removed or adjusted, too? Like the Tajendi Items?

Rather do it now then in 6 months.

freenzied sharkblood gem, bracer, ring, belt, cloak...
they drop at the OF encounters, which is not 1.69 livelike.

But shark items should also be affected then, as they are also a customisation like Tajendi items.

players have to rebuild their temp anyways.

Those are far more game breaking than Basalt/Shark items.

Man, you don't even play the damn game, so shut up pls :). There are several things that make megalodon items completely different from tajendi items. Sure, they are not up to date for our patch level, but they are still DAOC invented items. Except for their good utility, there is nothing so special about them, no great charges and so on. Further more, it's very hard to use more than two of them together in a temp, due to lot of hit points and similar resists/stats on some of them. Also, the biggest difference is that Tajendi was a custom instance, something you could safely enter 100 times in a row, abuse bugs and farm items safely. Old frontier mobs are not farmable that way. First of all, sometimes they only drop bag of coins. Second, they actually need to be UP for you to be able to kill them, unlike tajendi where you can re-do the instance million times. Also, you can have inc while farming then. So yes, while these items are still not our patch level, they are DAOC items, not some custom zone items and they are farmable in old school way, not like an instance grind farming. They are an essential part of most templates, until SI hits anyway. Once we have SI, there will be less qq about the possible removal of these items. I think staff and most players agree on those items staying at least until the release of SI.

"He was concerned only with the naked fundamentals of life. The warm intimacies of small, kindly things, the sentiments and delicious trivialities that make up so much of civilized men's lives were meaningless to him. A wolf was no less a wolf because a whim of chance caused him to run with the watch-dogs. Bloodshed and violence and savagery were the natural elements of the life Conan knew; he could not, and would never, understand the little things that are so dear to civilized men and women."

It's not that bad as long as they can be farmed again. (Would actually boost the amount of Bossraids)

But so far, staff gave no answer if these custom items will be removed from the droplist someday, too.
