I'm in the process of gathering pieces for my final template, call it "my life's work" if you want, it's basically the best template that can be done without any regards for the price. I just finished the full mp chain set and now I need a template to put these pieces to good use.

I'm willing to pay(plats) you if you can come up with the best template available to this version of uthgard, i'm nearing RR5, let's just aim for rr7/8 even if the goal is 10, it may take a while... I don't mind any Legion/Dragon/Beliathan/whatever loots, if there is RoG items in it so be it.

Extra points are of course smite points/str/pom from dragon shield ?/anything you could come up with that could potentially be usefull for me in any way. As a cleric there is obviously not much need for charge items.

+Enh on staff only ?
is the dragon shield worth it ?

Your thoughts !

Hi Eorkern,

i can post you my template, its from my cleric Romalia. I am a little bit crazy in optimizing templates, i want the best template that is possible for my chars. My cleric has everything at cap, even str (you know to carry rams ;) ). I have only 10 Enhancement because it is enough to get to 50 even with 40 enhancement skill. The only thing that you can optimize in this template is to get quickness at cap in case of you have to kill an add.

Hope you like it, did not thought anyone wants to build such an expensive template. No need to give p to me, just join my group sometimes when i am in need of a healer when defending albion :)

Rvr wise it is better to have 75quick instead of Str and use a staff, which is dex based, as a weapon for better melee dmg vs pets if needed.

Will you kill it in 1 swing? With a staff?

You could kill some of the lower level druid pets in a single swing, but anything else would take a few hits. If you get a higher level pet on you and your PBAoE mez is down you might as well starting repositioning, turning every once and a while to swing, until either you kill it or someone else deals with it for you. Regardless, in a maxed out template, Qui should be included to boost your melee DPS.

And there's no point in not maxing Str in a template like this, for your 1h damage, and carrying capacity. I was in a smallman awhile ago and couldn't afford to give myself Str/Con, and someone put just that debuff on me and I became rooted due to encumbrance. It's rare, but it could happen! :-P

There is no staff in my template, think it is possible to put some enhancement on staff and increase quickness instead. You only need 50 composite enhance and healing, so its also possible to drop that if you have higher rr. My template is for capping everything but quickness with rr1.

Belt of the protector drops from moran and golestandt, drop locations are verified by myself.

ok none in housing so I'm gonna have to work on that :p

I'm almost rr5 so i can drop at least +4 , rr7 might be easily attainable in the near future so I wouldn't mind a template with only 4/5 in all spec, cap is at 12 right ? and i don't even need 12 in enhan actually

Ok I can drop the +4 rejuv/enhan/smite on leg and weapons for 66 quickness apparently.

Can anyone else confirm that cap is at +11 RR included ? though i read somewhere it was 12.

+11 is cap for skills on your armor/weapon, for each rr you get another +1 skill on top. So with rr2 you can get +11 armor and +1 rr = +12. With rr5 you can get +11 on armor and +4 rr = +15.

For cleric there is no use to go above +50 composite healing or enhance, for smite i am not sure. +50 enhance will increase your base buffs slightly, every point above 50 has no effect. +50 healing decrease the variance of your base heals. every point above 50 has no effect. +smiting increase your smite damage, i think it will increase your damage also above +50, but i think not many clerics will have such high smite skill.

So if you have 42 enhance and you are RR5 you already have 46 enhance. You only need +4 enhance on your armor to get +50. Skill counts when you buff, so you can switch an item with +4 enhance just for buffing. I am too lazy to do that ;) If you dont use base heals in RvR (which i rarely do) then there is no need for +healing on armor. I use it often in PvE, so i added it on my armor. Only your base heals will be affected.

I can be the additional confirmation  item cap is definitely at 11. Also, I did a bit of testing awhile ago, and at composite 49 Rejuv I didn't experience any variation on any of my baseline heals. Going down to 48 introduced up to 3 or 4 points of variation, IIRC. I can't remember what my findings were for Enhancement, but I think composite 49 gave lower base buff values.

You should test it in both Rejuv and Enhance for yourself, anyways. Could be a good way to squeeze a few more points in other parts of your template.
