for a side not when leveling i always folwo this
i firstly get defender style on stafline (level 6 or 8)
then go for first taunt at ench line(6-8 not remmber)
so i cna able to start range pull
afte that i chk around if i solo or group
if group i go and get 7 rej
if solo i incrse staf priorly till it reaches 29(anytimer friar boon)
after that i go for 35 ench till i get yelow dex/qui
and after that i will level how i ever i wish when i wll be using at 50 spec

Atm i m 15, just did like you except 7 ench 8 heal rest staff (13 staff.
Works pretty well, grp friendly and assist dps still sweet.
Friar is not a great soloer until 30ish and all the tools.
I ll keep going staff to 29, heal to 24, then i ll up ench.

At the end i ll be 39 staff 46 ench 7/18/24 heal regarding how high enough the heal needs to be and try out this HoT.

this looks like solid advice - I've been struggling a bit with my low level friar. Getting a few points in rejuv to heal dungeons/groups, and then upping my staff/enh sounds like a solid plan.

Is 24 heal worth getting on a friar?

As per the original post, we're trying to figure how strong the Friar HoT (first at 24 rejuv) will be on Uthgard 2.0, and whether or not it will be strong enough for Friar to be a regular in raids-groups.

If any1 have any already tested insights into this, please share

I m 17 with 17 staff still 7 ench and 8 heal.
Very good dps, good healing still, ench is enough for first AF self buff and first d/c.

I will not keep staff at my lvl and lvl heal to 11 and so on.
I calculated i will be 25 staff 24 heal at lvl 30.

Wrong.

Read the friar feedback i ve made on this very subforum.

If you have 24 heal at lvl 24 yeah it uses tons of power. At 30 it is far better. Lvl 34 one at 50 will be ok at lvl 50 regarding power.
The value on paper is 37 hp per tick for HoT 24. After testing it was more about 50 hp per tick in game.

Is parry before evade?

I thought about:

46 Enhancement
44 Staff
15 Parry
7 Rejuvenation

So i can go for dragon raids and will still be able to farm solo, at least i dont see why i should spec Rej or Parry much higher. On the other hand, how likely is it to use the 3-chain-combo for the 44 style stun if you solo, pve and pvp. Not much i guess, so i also could go for the haste buff and more parry:

47 Enhancement
39 Staff
23 Parry
7 Rejuvenation

What would you prefer?

Personally I prefer:

47 ench
39 staff
23 parry
7 rejuv

However I'd prefer to evade than parry for styles, would it benefit the probability to evade if I didn't spec in parry at all?

Parry is great. Especially against Dual wielders (stealthers), out of the speccs you listed I'd go 44staff 46enhance 7rejuv, great 1v1 specc, however, id go 47enhance for the last haste.
