Hi, so my Necro is 17 and for some reason my level 7 Powerdrain is giving me the same amount back in power as my level 12 Powerdrain even though I am hitting a lot harder with my level 12 spell. Is that how it is supposed to be? I was under the impression that it is supposed to be 50% of the damage comes back as power.

Power you get = lvl of the mob you hit. That's all.

The 50% quota is for LifeDrain.

The real value given back has two options:

a) the amount of damage = amount of power-return
b) level of monster = amount of power-return

whichever is lower (mostly b)) will take place

I slot 2 power drains on my bar.

A low level one for recharging - Uses little to no power and returns a big chunk of power (if it lands).

Perfect if i have 1% power and need to get back up to 15-20% and don't want to rest to regain the pow to cast my high level power drain.


At Level - Used for nukes and maintaining power pool.


Sometimes if I am a bit low on Pow i'll get a mob to 10% health and run away and nuke them 5-10 times with my low level pow drain to get my power back to full.
