pom 1 is 1 mana per tick.
Check your tick rate.
Check how much mana a single spell cost.
Conclude by yourself.

first, yes: serenity and pom stack. 2 different sources/buffs technicaly.

serenity always grants you mana regen - also while being infight. POM does not give u mana (or only a veery small amount) while being infight. and because a sorc is pretty much all the time infight, theoretically this RA helps a lot.

on uth 1, having sereneity 2-3 gave you a huge boost during fights. though, I havent tested it on uth 2 yet und im not sure if serenity even works infight.

if serenity doest not give u increased mana regen infight, i dont think its useful as a sorc.

but keep in mind: having mana does not help you when lying dead on the ground in earlier RR there are more important RAs to get.

Does serenity stack up with with PoM5?
We did a short test run and as it seems, Serenity 1 stacks on POM5.
The difference between PoM5 and PoM5 + Serenity 1 was marginal, but existent.

Does serenity 1 make sense?
Definitly. Due to the fact that you will hit the 50% mana border much faster (in relation to non sere 1), you will reach the 100% much faster. Rest was said by wla.

We only did <out of combat> mana reg tests. Gonne check that. ^^
