respecced to arboreal

After hitting level 20, i respecced to arboreal in TNN. Back to DF, the spec bomber (level 16) started with about 70 damage ... the fourth bomber on a green mob dealt 140 damage. Because i used wisp flame (level 15 - about 70 damage) before respec?
