Recurve vs Heavy Recurve bow

Using the highest crafted bows:
To get our greatest range (2100) we have to use a Recurve bow which is 4.7spd 16.2dps. To use our biggest damage we use Heavy Recurve bow, we lose range (2000) but get a 5.5spd 16.5dps bow. So I'm assuming we always go for the slower higher dps bow? and sacrifice the 100 range. Or do we go for the faster draw bow gaining the little range, less overall dps but more arrows fired per second. |

More fast = More dps (after some sec)

Its personal preference obviously, but I always used the slowest bow and utilized higher terrain (if possible) to gain range and apply the largest burst as possible. You're usually "safe" through your critshot and first normal pull-shot and anything after that is chancing plenty of people /faceing and/or noticing your position so I always attempt to make those two the killshots or only need rapidfires to finish the job.

As 762 said, its personal preference. Personally, I used to carry a slow and fast bow. Every once in awhile speed became more important. Essentially any time you are trying to hit lots of targets (relic raid, big keep defense, huge zerg at amg and you are adding, etc...) I would use a fast bow. In my 1 vs 1 situations I almost always used the slow bow. When fighting casters I would use rapid fire after the crit shot was gone so that was my way of using a "fast" bow without having to switch bow's out. The rapid shot was key to keep casters rupt.
