Both depend 100% on str. So no difference between hammer and axe. Its the same in albion. Slash and Crush both depend 100% on str.
So you choise is more dependent of the styeles they offer and on the resists of armors against certain damage types.

Hello,

All weapon avaiable for a sald are, anyhow, depending on strenght. Axe, hammer and sword.

Now there is few tips to see for choosing your weapon as skald.

Usually on live, mostly choosed weapon are hammer and sword.

Hammer because of the low endu anytime style, provok. And for the level 29 back style with unbreakable snare style, conquer.

Sword because of Raganrok backstyle (level 50), with a high growth rate.

Axe, mostly unused because of bleeding effect on many styles, that break the mezz.

Hope that help you, best regards,

Pirith.
