I have read the faq, they say i best need 1.73 but i can't download it anywhere. I downloaded the trial and wanted to connect to uthgard server but it's downloading the latest patch now (1.82). Does it run with 1.82?

Daoc has a lot of expension packs and add-ons and stuff, that makes it realy difficult to understand. Anywhere a noob FAQ where i can read the how's, do's and why's?

Ow i run daoc portal after install and choose uthgard server then started. I also choose EU version would this give any problems?

Im not an expert, but as i understand it, and the wayi have my setup configured, Uthgard wil work with v.1.82 but you;re best to go with v.1.83 to get from 1.82 to 1.83 simply run the patch and it will update for you.

as for the loader my v.1.73 works fine.

someone can probably correct me on this stuff though.

EDIT: To get the patch to run 1.83, change your update.DAT to read :
