Theurgist: Stopper/grouphelper or dd killer?

Hi I'm a theurgyst.

I wanna know more about theu specs.

I use the Search tool and I found a post abaut theu specs but in French and I don't undestand it.

I've read many forums about the theu abilities.

I've read that an earth spec is a useful in groups but don't have dd, mezz or rooting spells.

However the melee/ranged damage shield is useful (expecially against backstabs from stealth enemies) and friction can be very painful for a melee class.

But no dd spells is no dd spells.
With earth spec you have only the Ice path spells to do direct damage and root.

Wind is best for 1 vs 1 cos it includes more dd and a mezz spell (best than root)
But No pets are aviable (as refrigeration path)!

However lots of theu in this server have chosen wind magic.

I wanna be a theurgyst not an half winzard!
So I'm on earth right now and I spam more pets I can against caster.
When I'm in group I'm very useful cos i stop the caster from do lots of dd or heal but in 1 vs 1 I really don't know what to do.

Another question is: Is earth magic spec useful at max level or is better to stop using spec points in earth at level 35 with biggest pets and 10 sec autocast protection sphere (skin of stone) and start to spec wind or ice searching to get area's root or mezz?

earth spe for theu is nice but shouldn't been the main spe (and to level, you ll cry)

in earth you have pulsing bladeturn but as usually you ll play in assist train on uthgard there won't be lot of differenece between first one and last one.

as you said pets are nice to rupt casters but you won't kill him with it. so no need to have higher pet.

and debufff hmmmm don't think you ll be able to use it very well in fight anyway

i think 26 in earth is enough and so you choose your main spe.

ice is nice for area root that few people have on albion and is a very nice wapon.

in wind you'll have a low area mezz that you ll use just in small fights or to prevent stealthers.

the dammage in ice is lower than wind(that is impressiv and low resisted i think) but has snare.

ice and air are both nice i think. wind better for small rvr. ice for larger rvr.
