I just downloaded and installed DAoC Shrouded Isles and Catacombs, and I'm not sure how to get down to a supported version to play on Uthgard.

I have version 1.87, and it's not working quite well.

I'm not sure how I can get down to a supported version to play on Uthgard, so can anyone help me?

this is th exact problem im having as well all the npcs and mobs are disappearing after about 1 min of playing there needs to be a patch or a dll to copy please someone

disable antivir-programs and firewalls and try it then,or at least config them better.

I followed updating instructions to patch my 1.73 up cos it wont let me in saying something like it's not supported or something. Now I think it automatically patched me to 1.87 and it definitely wont let me in...How do u patch down preferably to 1.82 or something like that...

A note to others: You have to patch to EU version if you currently use the newest US version. Uthgard always supports the client up to the latest version on EU servers.

i got 1.88b and so far i havent run into any trouble, as for the disappearing npcs, afaik, is not related to your version, mostly firewalls either on your computer or on your network router

hmmm i think it may be the launcher then...i tried daoc freeshard launcher, from which i found this shard but it failed saying my client seemed to be unsupported which i'm guessing says the launcher does not accept v1.87. I then tried dolloader-177+ (name of downloaded zip file) and modified the connect.bat file as instructed in the readme but it also fails for some reason saying it "failed to create game process". Do you know how to fix this or another launcher method that will work? Thanks a lot for all your help!!
