So, i made a scout and playing with my schoolmate and he's infi, we're grping almost always. I want to know which styles should i use in melee. Atm I'm lvl 10 with 10 thrust and 8 shield. Puncture has low dmg and high endu but no defense penalty, Sting is normal taunt with normal dmg but has high defense penalty, the follow up of puncture has dmg something like taunt and the lvl 21 follow up has 0.7 dmg. I'm not planning to get to 21 thrust until lvl 35-40. My braemar spec will be 15 thrust 23 shield 27 bow 18 stealth. Wondering what style to use as anytime. Also noticed that shield is quite strong...

Use shiled just to stun the enemy 1 time. Best anytime for almost all classes is the taunt one.

Anytime style for scout? either Opal Slash (15 slash) or Bloody Dance (12 thrust). Both styles have high damage bonus and need anytime styles for opening. Bloody Dance needs only 12 points in thrust and damage for thrusting weapons is based on dex too, while slash is based on strength only. Archers have better dex than str so... better to use Bloody Dance.

beside if u wanna be a stealtherhunter,sb/ns use leather, leather wants to get a slashweapon into it :P..so..dmgbonus with slash..but..nevermind..use what u like, the difference wont be that hard. lv 29 slash anytimer is best, but needs much endu.shieldstyles need much endu too. etcetc. just try it..respecc later if needed.

Hib leather is strong vs slash really, so thrust for scout if better^^

I'm 100% sure i'm gonna use thrust cause of dex, scouts have high dex and not so high str, i wont be stealther killer, rather sniper i think scout's melee dmg isnt really good, good defense but not dmg. Tbh dont care much about armor resists, once i'll be firghting SB, then ranger, then tank, etc. Just someone confused me with this defense penalty, thrust taunt has high penalty i dont know if its really worth or bothering.

Thanks for replys
