Update problem

Hi,
my other friend has problem updating. When he click start update it writes: Cannot connect to update server. His internet is fine, he tryed yesterday and couldnt and today its same. What's wrong? Thanks |

Start update at Uthgard Launcher? Just try to run the camelot.exe once should work as well

Hm, maybe the update server was busy at that time? Did he try again at different times? Could it be reached by ping <servername>? Happy hunting!

He tryed yesterday in the evening and today in the morning. And how to reach that ping?

In your Windows taskbar click on Start > Run.... Then, type cmd and press Enter. Finally, type ping <servername>. Example: ping patch.camelot-europe.com which should result in something like this:
Maybe he should also double-check that there are no spaces at the end of the lines in update.dat. Happy hunting!

I found the problem, it was wrong in his update.dat, he had to copy that:
Mythic Patch patch.camelot-europe.com:1280/updates/english/atlantis/mpatch.dat patch.camelot-europe.com:1280/updates/english/atlantis/mpatch.dat Thanks for your help anyway! |
