why? if u make some classes in rvr harder the others need to be better too.. that would imbalance the rvr sys on uth.

I already thought about little spell range extension for the higher ice pets instead of more run speed.

Eh, was a point of time on Live when you would have a tank of some sort, choose a target while on the rail up top, Theur would /assist <name>, and ice pets, who at the time didn't acknowledge keep borders, trees, and ******, and would just continuously cast through the doors at invaders breaking in.

But the Theurg must see the target. Thats important, else you will not be able to fire the pet.

casting through windows is allowed..and if there are ppl doin it to defend a keep (for example) u cant deny the attacker to do the same to reach the defender. and if they have a icepet on their ass then,their problem.

The ice pet also has to see it's target so even if a theurg did jump cast to get a pet out on someone inside a keep the pet would melee and not cast.

It was a bug on live, and I suspect it may be a bug here. It is a worry, not a sure thing, so don't treat it as such.

If I change the ice pet to use LOS checks it will not change much as long as the pet can run through walls and doesnt respect doors and such. With no LOS it will run to the target until it gets LOS and then it casts. So adding LOS check to the pet casts won't change much.

Then you need to find a way to fix it. I wouldn't mind it running through doors, because it'd be the same as if we were to enter keeps and such, but walls is just not acceptable... There has to be a cross-over area that isn't too gimp and too OP.

have u ever read the other threads concerning the theu-pets`? its all written down there..the pros,the cons.. everything.. and just for ur infos..thats it for ALL pets. if the casting, bowswinging pets of the bd will be implemented,same problem, when the shrooms are implemented. same problem. theres no "easy way to fix it".. it has been discussed a long time now. and atm there are many problems,that weight more than just los for some pets.
