Not sure if this is the right place for this, but it seems the "rightest" of the listed forums...

Our guild, the Arthurians (Albion, obviously) has been abandoned by our GMs. The original founding GM has not been on in over a year (I checked the "Last Online" field in /social). We went through a phase of calling him, emailing him, etc, but it seems that he and his wife have just dropped off the face of the earth. Of all the many Rank 0 and 1 characters in the guild, none have been on in hundreds of days except one, who was on 47 days ago, apparently just to check on things.

Is there a rule whereby I can take over the guild ? I'm not interested in stealing the paltry 580 gold in the bank, as I have lots of plats already and nothing to spend it on, but I just hate to see the guild languishing with no leadership. It is of course not active atm, but perhaps I could get some new blood....who knows.....

I am an officer in the guild (Rank 2) btw......

we have a system in place to request guild leader for inactive guilds.
You can use /gc requestguildleader in game to check if or who is eligible to receive rank 0.

I executed it, and it said I was not eligible. The only person it listed as eligible was the Rank 0 who was last on 47 days ago. Can you tell me if there is a maximum time on how long said person can be gone before it moves to the next eligible person ? It seems to me that 47 days should be enough, but this is clearly not the case....

90 days is the minimum.
