I've been hit from incredible ranges, it almost scares me.

I sit on the side, and sum1 pulls a mob, and the mob just runs past me and whacks me on the side

Me X
Monster Y

I stand here X

Monster is here Y

Monster Runs >>

Me Here again X
-------------------------Y
Monster reaches out and whacks me, then continues Y

Is that normal? And even if its not your party mob, why does it attack you and what's with the insane radius that it attacks at?

Well, you are still an enemy to the mobs,
dont know how big the range of it is tough, but never noticed that it's "insane" like you describe it..

there is the bug at the moment, that mobs that are pulled by someone attack any other players while walking to the pulling player

only possibility to avoid that bug atm, is to stay away from the line between the pulling player and his mobs

dear staff, plz fix this!

Its a bug I already fixed. Its fixed in a stack of multiple changed files on my local disk. I will commit the changes soon, but need to test my new Mob/Pet code more, else they will have lots of new errors.

what about the range the mobs follow u,u cant really kite with scouts etc,if the mobs follows u above clipping range.. u cant even see his old spot anymore, and he still is following u.. and if u hit the mob a second time,he will follow u nearly forever.

Mobs follow for 30s if they get out of range, so this is not forever. What you describe is not the normal case or the mob is able to hit you.

As long as the mob reaches you and is able to hit you it will follow you to the end of the map until you are dead. I wonder why you report such thing. This is a normal behaviour. There is no distance to spawn check in this code. Get out of range of the mob and you are fine.

what about the damage shield bug? (focus) where it says you are in combat, and after a while, enemies LEAVE your pet, no known reason... then you can DS focus...

But back to the main point... I've sat near a chanter's pet, who focus pulls, and I was quite a big distance away, and this is the weird part... the pet stops, the rocots (thats what we're killing) suddenly attacked me and chanter...

Is that normal?

Chanter here X, and Pet Y then rocot <<<

X...Y<<<

Rocot reach THROUGH the pet, and attack the chanter, then back to pet... its weird i tell ya
