Quick Question about a few things

Since much of the game isnt implemented, is it worth getting darkness rising? I don't see any advantage other than graphics. Also would the graphics look like the new faces? By that, i mean the new textures, and would you be able to set your character's nose and stuff, like length and width.
Also how does the face change in capital cities works? You log out and then what? Thanks! |

When you choose for face change, logout and if I remember well, it enables an option like char editing. I dont remember the option's word but is similar at customizing etc.
Getting new expansions is needed for accessing Tajendi and the new Christmas event of snowfights. I think also there are some bug fixes of older issues too in new machines and some graphics enchantments that can help you play better. |

well i could get cata... I don't really know if its going to change gameplay much. I don't like the new engine cuz it's really ghey =[

Remember that you are able to get the old character models back in the options.

I think you just can download the dr client right now, or are there still others to download?

Yeah? So you're telling me I can change my char's face and customize it? Hmm... I might change the models then... i'll see. Il stick to ToA atm, then if i feel the need il go on and upgrade.

EU mythic offers only new 1.89 patched clients, what has new fix to change your apearence at any time you log in or out.
The old version 1.88 cannot be downloaded anymore from daoc.goa.com Availible clients are Trials of Atlantis, Catacombs, Darkness Rising and Labyrinth of minotaurs You can get US version of Shrouded Isles but it will not work in uth since its 1.90 and this patch is not supported in Uthgard. |

Oh i see... pity. Well i still got a few more days to set up the apartment, so i prob wont be on until AFTER christmas
