I have a char named 'Galahad' in mid and yesterday when i was looking at herald i saw a Hibernian Hero called 'Galahaad'. Hes in guild Hexagone and he certainly took this name after me. My char was created almost nine months ago (low level because of a long break), when his is like 2 months old -.-. I hope you will do something with it.
Thank you in advance, Galahad |

Lol thats just funneh,to say the least....
Galahad is a well known name, i mean,u think Corwin is unique in every game i have ever played ? Jesus to even have the nerv to ask GMs to do something about it is beyond me.... |

Lol what do you usually do when you see than the name uve chosen is already used? Add double 'i'? o.o

why dont u name urself arthus, frodo, gandalf or something ? bc these are names even a 5year old would remind while creating a char..get a uniqe name and noone will get one that sounds the same. ur name sucks, so dont cry about ppl who want to have that name and just add one a or something.

as already said, get a unique name
like mine ![]() |

your name pendragon is already used too and you yook it. will you change for such reason?
and by the way the name galaad pendragon already exist on alb ^^( before you created your char i think) and anyway i think it's more roleplay to be named galaad on alb than mid. <img src="http://www.fallenearth.fr/daoc/daoc2.php?player=Panachou">

is this actually about the "rights" to a given name, or is it just a question of someone being able to choose the same name as someone else? because i used to play mid but switched to alb and i know i havent been able to use the same name for a char crossrealm.

It's not a question about someone taking the same name - it's about a similar name. (You can't take the same name even if the realm is different!)
To end this discussion: There's nothing wrong with it. You are Galahad; he called himself Galahaad. Just because someone e.g. takes Peter as a name you're supposing that no-one else is allowed to choose Peiter, Peater, Peeter, ... Sorry, but that's in no way realistic. It's just as people said before: If you don't want to have someone choose a similar name, then you really need to use more imagination than just taking a name from popular King Arthur's legends. Happy hunting!
