Ok so after getting in and creating a character, My game then lags and will freeze so i have to CTRL ALT DEL out. (Sometimes it will freeze to where my system freezes so i have to restart)

I am running on the following:

Processor:Pentium 4 3.0 Ghz
RAM: 512
Graphics Card: ATI Radeon x300 SE
Direct x 9.0c
------------------------------------------

I don't understand at all why it does this i have done everything to updating all my system to turning off everything running to uninstalling my GFX card and reinstalling it.This is why i quit in the first place and went back to WoW! & i hate WoW! lol

Please help does anyone know what it could be? I mean i run fine in WoW and CoD2 and even do quite well in Company of Heroes so i don't know why its doing this?!?!?!!?

If your CPU has a dual-core try to assign only ONE core to DAoC. I can hardly remember that there has been an issue regarding DAoC vs. dual-core-cpu´s...

p4 3ghz is not dualcore imho.. have u checked ur MTU ( use search here for further infos about that), also checked all files on update?have u installed all microsoft windows-patches? how large is ur windows swap-file ? r u running any "clear-the-ram" tools?

I have sometimes your same problem. I have an ati radeon too and it's not good for daoc^ try to check if your graphic card is supported
I also had many more problems before installing DNA ati drivers, before i did it i always had my screen black when i went in some zones
