The girlfriend and I both used to love playing DAoC together, and eventually stopped playing.

Now we found this shard, we were looking forward to playing together again.

I was told by a friend, there is somewhere we are supposed to notify people that we are in fact two people, and not a player and bot.

Where do I do this please?

You can't do anymore. We noticed too many people using these threads as an (lame) excuse for dual-logging. Although they couldn't prove actually being more than one person when we did some random checks they referred to having posted in this thread. That's why we decided to dump it.

If you are multiple-logging from the same IP, I'm afraid we have to insist on you always being prepared to be checked for actively playing all logged-in characters. I hope you'll understand...

your be surprized how many people tell me that they have an 2nd computer, therefore its not a bot, " its ok, i play both at same time."

i tell them to read the rules and they dont listen.

i wonder what happens if yours dou'ing with a cleric , and the cleric goes afk to make dinner. and a admin asks if he is a bot. " er no, he is just afk. "

I Duo with my wife alot... So after readin all the rules on Uthgard, we Both totely agree that If one needs to go AFK, that we find a safe spot and both go afk and dont do nothing untill the other is back, and if we can some times we just log out untill we both get back :+) ( is better to be safe then sorry right? )

MK has there own rules also, its only the right thing to fallow them if you want to be apart of it, if you cant fallow the rules you shouldnt be here. Period .... Sadly i meet a few people that just dont care and i refuse to group up with those that want a Free ride or try to take advantage of what we got...

Remember: Rules exists to be violated.

This mean that if you are following the rules, didn't means that all follows them. The most times if you follow the rules, maybe you are the exception of the rules. Sad, but it is the truth.
