So i installed Camelot gold, (both original and si) ToA and Catacombs from the original cd's I had.

Now i jump into the game and it kicks me after 120 seconds because I have v1.91..

I cant get the .exe to even boot up if i change the update.ini folder to only update to 1.89 for some reason.. Ive installed twice and both time it put my strait to 1.91..

Also, the DAoCPortal is all screwed up I keep getting this 3 times when I start up DAoCPortal and 1 more time when I try to Update DAoCPortal.. I can skip these errors but nothing seems to work properly when I do and when I skip the error on the update, the update just doesnt update properly.. anyways, this is the error in DAoCPortal :

System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Attempted to perform an unauthorized operation.
at Microsoft.Win32.RegistryKey.Win32Error(Int32 errorCode, String str)
at Microsoft.Win32.RegistryKey.SetValue(String name, Object value, RegistryValueKind valueKind)
at Microsoft.Win32.RegistryKey.SetValue(String name, Object value)
at DAoCPortal.Helpers.Support.SetRegKey(RegistryKey key, String subkey, String regkey, String value)

Get that 3 times when I start up DAoCPortal and 1 more time when I press update on the update it needs.

For some reason the only way im even able to connect to the patcher aswell is through DAoCPortal through File>settings>Patch which is how i got to 1.91.

Yah, lots of problems so far..

Nevermind I got it working,

Still have those errors though in DAoC Portal, i can skip them but they're still there.

Hmn i wonder why you can play with 1.91 on Uth ^^

If you want to update to 1.89 you just have to copy

patch.camelot-europe.com:1280/updates/english/darkness/mpatch.dat
patch.camelot-europe.com:1280/updates/english/darkness/mpatch.dat

this in your update.dat in your game folder

And start camelot.exe

Are you sure using the daocportal patcher is the only way to patch? ^^
