Hey all since i downloaded the update my computer will just crash to desktop randomly. I can play my albion characters for about an hour or so and then it will tend to crash but i just made a hibernia account to give that a shot and 2 seconds after i log into my new character it does, over and over again...i know there are other topics about this but im just curious as far my options are?
thanks in advance.

Well, I guess you are using the same client to connect. Hardware shouldn't be an issue, too. So, maybe check if both accounts are actually using the same graphics settings (i.e. windowed mode enabled/disabled or different water effects, ...).
Happy hunting!

For duo core users - as far as I know the problem can be solved by using
only one core for DAoC. I will find a solution for this problem after work ;)

Can you go back to your previous graphics driver? There have been reports that in some cases the newest drivers are not fully compatible with some graphics adapters, whereas the older ones work just fine...

I use Intels Dual Core for DAoC but never needed to assign a core exclusively to DAoC. DAoC always used only one core by default. This was what I noticed lately.

Realm versus Realm means:
Everybody of some Realm, against everyone of the other Realms..

Usually even non-dual-core optimized programs should run properly, but
some just don't like DAoC or NFScarbon for many users. One solution is
to manually assign one core to the clients "game.dll".

-> ctrl+alt+del to open the task manager
-> right-click the "game.dll" task. thats the daoc client and set "affiliation"
to one core only
-> done
