hey guys....im totally new to the game and my downloads just about done...i was wondering if theres a patch system? and if so...do i patch in between installations?
example:
Daoc- Trial (patch) install > Install Daoc TOA (patch it also) > Install Catacombs.

or is straight install no patching involved?

install the whole game up to the expansion you want to use, latest one is Labyrinth. then run the game exe to patch the game to 1.89 (make sure you connect to the european servers when doing so, search the forum to find how to change a us client to connect to the european servers) then it's patched used the methods found on this forum to connect to uthgard.

there used to be a whole thread on how to do it but i cant seem to find it atm and i'm too lazy to search for it myself

great. thanks for clearing that up...i heard you cant use the cow ppl race so i think im gonna skip the newest expansion and just get up to Catacombs...il get Darkness Rising if i make it to 30 i guess ...see you in game :] .

you can play with toa,cata, dr or lotm whenever u want, all chars that are playable will be with any expansion. these are all classic and SI- Chars. so.get the addon u want,the only thing that will improve is ur grafix maybe.
