Hes rigiht though, you dont need good equips to kill someone, at the end of the day its skill. And if you actaully NEED top equip to KILL someone, then you are rather bad.

Sure,if you play ways better then the one you are Fighting its about skill and not about Equip,but if you are enpare (which will often happen in Emain since there are more or less many good players) equip will decide who wins.

You're wrong. The only class the requires skill to play are stealthers, and sometimes casters. For a tank, it comes down to equip/spec.
