hey !
i have version 1.62 of the game and cant seem to connect to uthgard :s it says renderer creation failed |

Launch with the icon of DAoC which is into the files where you have installed the game, and the application will download all the filse necessary to up to the 1.80 version.

Something makes me believe that this is not your game version but the version of the update program. DAoC 1.62 is way outdated!
 If this really is your game version start camelot.exe and update to 1.82.
The renderer problem most probably is caused by DirectX (should be 9.0c) or video driver incompatibility. You might want to use the most current driver available. Happy hunting!

how do i know my actually daoc version then ?
i just downloaded goa , and run the update anyway im installing directx now |

Normally, it is displayed in the loading screen when connecting to a server. However, if you can't connect see if you can find a readme.txt in the main directory.

could it be i have version 1.81 ?
is it too high ? how can i downgrade it ? ( pls say it in steps ) |

You dont need to, you just need the dolloeader 1.77+, and some time to read the readme.

alrighty ! i can get the game started !
but woops another problem :s it keeps retrying connecting but i cant seem to get connected to the server also my connect file of the dolloader isnt a bat.file it is a dos file WHY CANT I CONNECT ? |
