Ive noticed Horses are working, but are somewhat slow, in fact they dont add very much speed at all, is there anything i can add to speed up my horse?
Also who can make horse armor and barding, is it armorsmiths or tailors? was just wondering, as im new to this horse thing ![]() |

At the moment horses are just meant as a show-off. There's nothing you can do to make them go faster.
If it was working ( ![]() Happy hunting!

Currently there are only the basic horses from live available. The advanced horses that are faster and look stylish will come but may be way more expensive.

The main problem that lets them appear so slow is that you move with 125% (?) speed if you are out of combat. (general speed bonus)
Horses give you the speed of 130% or 135%, not sure about that. So if you move by foot out of combat you have 125% speed; if you move by horse you have 130% or 135%, so just 5% or 10% bonus. At least I think... |

Thats right Shaden. We introduced the +25% Bonus on speed when outofcombat some time before, rendering the advantage of the basic horses to be smaller. Before that you had +35% Speedbonus with horses.

aah thank you all

Maybe later, if the advanced horses are implemented, it would be possible to lower the prices of basic mounts and remove the 25% speed bonus in order to make them more usefull and a good thing to have?
