Is there any way to prevent the spell icons from randomly appearing on my hotbars everytime I level up?

AfaIk, no - but isn't this the same on live servers, too? If yes, maybe we can do something better than they? If not - definitely a must fix!! Almost every time you receive a new spell line this line will take up a place in your quickbar replacing the existing icon in the process. However, under DOL it's always been so. Some people talked about it in the past but no-one ever insisted on it being completely wrong...

For the moment, just wait until you have all lines possible. Once you receive only updates to your already existing spells they will either replace your old ones (e.g. buffs) or have to be replaced manually (e.g. DD spells).

A must fix? Isnt it just a small inconvenience?

In first levels it always happens, then after 5th lv should no more happen. It could be a problem with your custom UI, try to change it with one whiich suport current client version

nah, i had this on my druid with standart ui

its the same on friar if u choose to spec enhance. some of the icons change into other type icons. and due to deletion of my first post, i tell again,report it. there where fixes on this,as it happened on cleri etc some time ago,so it must be serversided.

Well, to give a bit of context; I do remember this happening on the live servers at one point in time.

But... right now, on my healer--if I level up and I get several new spells (due to being low level) each new spell replaces an already existing spell icon on my hotbar.

It's... kind of frustrating trying to set up all the spells back to their previous places. I could have sworn there was a way to disable this (meaning, updating spells on the hotbar manually all the time) but I couldn't find it.

I guess I'll do a /gm call in game- ?
