Been having an odd video issue with the game. It's just started occurring; I can no longer run it without lag(visual lag) on maxed settings. The lag only occurs when the sky is in view on my monitor.

I don't believe it's my system specs at all... Any other possibilities?

System specs:

Processor:
AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4600+, MMX, 3DNow (2 CPUs), ~2.4GHz
Memory:
2048MB RAM
Hard Drive:
250 GB SATAII
Video Card:
Radeon X1650 Series
Monitor:
Plug and Play Monitor
Sound Card:
SoundMAX HD Audio

Only thing that has changed is I have installed Fury, which is a game (www.unleashthefury.com) and it asked to change a default windows process I believe it was a video process. It simply shut that process down. The game gives me no options to re-enable, nor does it explain anywhere on the forums for it what it disabled.

Anyone know any possibilities? Playing with greeny ugly original water and tree's that deserve to be burnt down sucks.

Try to split the cores. Daoc seams to have troubles with dual-cores.

Yepp, I had the same here with my PC
Giving the DAoC-Thread to just one core solved the problem.

A friend of mine hat a similar problem with an overclocked video card; lowering the ramclock solved it here.

Apparently it was a combination of running on an extremely high wide screen resolution, and the tree's. Lowering the tree quality fixed it mostly, the visual lag is much better. Thanks for all the support guys.

Setting processor affinity on the process to run off only one core had little to no effect.
