To-hit bonus...

I am new to the server but had a questions about a note I saw in the window when I first log in.
This note talked about a to-hit bonus granted for having a weapon spec that was at least 75% that of the level of the target player ( If I recall correctly ). My questions is in regards to the nightshade for this example. Does this bonus only apply to either piercing or blades? Or does our spec in Critical Strike still apply as going over this limit. Given a level 50 vs 50 encounter it would require a minimum spec of 38 in pierce/blades to achieve the 75% threshold for the bonus. Having experimented with several specs in the past I've been happy with several spec with pierce lower then this point and would have to spec in a way less effective IMO just to gain this bonus. How is this factored? Do I really need to go that high in pierce to receive the bonus?

What exactly is the weapon spec here?
Is it the "raw" weapon spec without any bonuses? Or is it the "effective" weapon spec, calculated adding RealmRank and SC-SkillBonus? |

Thats what I was a little curious about. If you need to maintain a 75% base spec its really limiting as you climb in RR and rework your spec.
![]() From expeerience personally I would be happy with 26 spec +11 with SC to achieve the 37 would be fine, but not if I am going to fumble every other hit cause of it.

that is how it has worked on live for ages, so better get used to it.
to be honest im glad for this change, finaly a reason for assasins to spec in weapon instead of going high CS only. |
