A siege ram crafted on the spot of use takes 300 boards, cladding, ram beak and two harnesses. How much does that weight? 30 + 17 + 52 + 2*34 = 167 stones. Even a tank might need str buff to carry all that. Many times it takes two or three people to carry the materials for a single ram, not to mention trebuchets (I think they still work). It takes building time and siegecraft skill.

I am selling those siege rams that weight 48 stones. 48 stones, nothing more. One person can care two or three of them at a time. It is not just rams (they are just the most used), I have all kinds of sieges (catapults are underestimated, in my opinion). Takes no crafting skill in anyting, it is just to drop it on the ground.

Also, buyer pays with gold and saves bountypoints! so can buy respecs and the alike with the saved bountypoints.

What do you mean? The damage is not good or they are not dropping on the ground? I have nod done RvR lately to test the damage but I am positive that they drop from inventory ready to use.

CORRECTION: I just notticed that these engines are lighter then I said. Trebuchets and siege rams weight 24, NOT 48! and ballistas (used for destroying rams) weight only 9! Imagine, even a caster can carry an arsenal!
