Recognizing old-type legendary weapons (elemental dmg)

I've read that legendary weapons were craftable in their normal form at one point on Uthgard, but later were changed to be normal damage types with the fancy weapon skin. I've also read that the legendary weapons crafted before the change kept their elemental damage types. Is this true?
I noticed while browsing the market explorer that some legendary weapons have their damage type in the icon as "elemental" while others of the same weapon category have standard damage types like "slash" or "crush". Delving the legendaries with regular damage types shows the appropriate damage type in the items info. Delving the items listed as elemental show their damage type as "none". Are these real elemental weapons leftover from the old days, or is it just a display bug? Finally, if they are real, do they have the 20% proc on them? I don't see any proc info listed when delving either of the two examples I mentioned earlier. Thanks! |

I already tested two times those old type leg. weapons
both said elemental damage(on right click, but on info-text they were announced slash/crush), but i tested them vs a paladin and with and w/o his elemental auras result= display bug |

Thank you for the information! To clarify, you're saying that your testing showed these weapons to not deal elemental damage? Do you believe this means that even the oldest legendary weapons have been nerfed to physical damage types? This runs contrary to what I've read about them, but your testing sounds very smart, and I'm inclined to believe you.
