I was wondering if anyone knew off by hand what overcharge is on items with 22 and 19 points to imbue?

Maximum overcharge is 5.5 imbue points no matter object level and quality.
Section is wrong, i'll wait few hours to help you see the answer and then i'll move it to the crafting section.
On Uthgard 1.0:
Totenpfeil <Ranger> - Vlath <Hunter> - Toten <Eldritch> - Totentanz <Skald>
On Uthgard 2.0:
Totenzweig <Druid> - Totentanz <Skald>

wrong - in oposition to live, QUALITY affects the chance to combine an item.

4x 99% gem on 94% should be no difference to a 99/100%, but on uthgard you will sure blow up with that.

+1 oververcharge with 4x gem 95%+ was no problem for LEG SC, doesent work on uthgard.

Badtzmaru is right supa, less qua means u have less imbue points to start but u still can overcharge 5.5

example: lvl 51 100% qua item gives 32 imbue points and lvl 51 99% qua gives 28 imbue points, different imbue points but u can OC 5.5 ending with 37.5 on 100% qua and 33.5 on 99% qua
It's the thrill of the chase
and I'm coming after you.

read and understand... that SHOULD be the live behavior, but uthgard is differnt.

the mechanics of combine sucess are different to live.
thats why you still blow up here sometimes with 4x99% gem on 99% item.
on live even 99-99-98-98 never blow up.
on uthgard you need 99-99-99-100 on 99% item, or 4x 99 on MP item.

again: ITEM QUALITY does affect combine sucess.
you *may* be able to combine on a 94% item, but you will have an awsome chance to blow up.

the uthgard OC bevaviour does NOT match with the SC system on live.
widely explained including sources in german section:
http://uthgard.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=9180&start=37

long story short:
on live the explode chance was only a thing if gem quality,
combining success depends partially on item quality.

I think you did not understand the question of the poster which was:

How many imbue points can i overcharge on an object that has X maximum imbue points as base?

The answer is simple: always 5.5 more points.

No one stated that objects quality does not affect base maximum IP as for Live.
The only incontrovertible evidence is that on uthgard, even if you take a level 6, qua 94% object, that has only 1 base IP, you still can overcharge it to 6.5.
Nobody was talking about that to achieve this result, you need much more higher quility gems than on live. ;)
