Hi,

I have a Senior-Fletcher by now, but its hard to gain further skill-points, due to insufficient gold (or platin if u like).

Naturally i want to sell my crafted Bows and Staves (and also furniture), to get me some fresh bucks into my wallet, but i dont know how much i should take for my crafted goods.

What is the publically common way to calculate prices for crafted items, or how do YOU calculate them?

Greetz,
Gemma

easiest way to calculate the prices is with motogs crafting calculator

http://motogs.redemptionofdivineharmony ... ulator.php

and btw maybe you want to tell me your actual skill and craftername so i can add you to the midgard crafterlist.

No use for furniture here - on Uthgard they are not as expensive as they were on live.
So if you craft them they are more expensive than in the housing zone ;)

I calculate with motogs aswell - but I never sell for more money as I needed.
(Ok you said you need a bit money so... hm it's like everywhere in the capitalism - it's all about Offer and Demand :P)

You can only calculate the cost with motog. You should do some market research and ask other fletchers what is a normal price. But the market is only great at leg grandmaster. You can sell 51/99 and mp staff for good. Or even legendary stuff. To get leg grandmaster it's the best way to borrow some money and pay it back when you got the profit of it.

this is the way i calculate

for 99% stuff i count 10 retries and for 100% 50 retries

if i craft on order, i take the by motogs precalulated material +20% depends on how nice the person is

ps. cali i bet you will get a lot of orders in the future :)

I calculate the prices in the easiest way : cost for the item + cost per retry, no risk of losing money when a mp takes more retries than stated before. ;)

this is my data in order to get:
to get 99% >> retries (1min,17max), average 8

to get 100% >> retries (1min, 62max) average 40

still sometimes being lucky i had 3 MPs in a row ^^

You risk loss of money with those average calculations.

Sad records:
99% item: 32 tries
100% item: 192 tries :(

When tailoring, I charge per try (material+30% on lvl51 stuff). Yes, bad luck for the customer if I need more tries than one would expect, but I can't risk losing money on an order if I want to stay motivated for the next one.

When spellcrafting, I charge flat per item (400g) - it's mostly my time that is paid, not the jewels.

btw, I would expect 6 tries for 99% (18% chance to get 99% or MP) and 50 tries for MP (2% chance).

Sad records? I had an order for 4*99%, 2*MP. It took 36 tries to get 99% legs, but only 15 for MP boots and 26 for MP gloves - in the end it all evened out :)

i dont risk any money:
- using Motog's to calculate the material's cost base+retry
- mark-up bases for friends>>guildies>>allies>>the rest of the ppl
- i add 5% extra to metal armors since it involves to change accounts
- i only start crafting if the client has understand everything involved in the process... or its a friend :D
