1.) I got my spellcrafter to legendary skill, but noticed that my material skill (gemcutting) is ~30 points behind. Since that skill has no trinkets, on live you sometimes gained skill twice on that skill, to prevent it from lagging behind.

Does that affect spellcrafting in any manner? Does the material skill affect chance for successful crafting, chance for successful overload or anything?

2.) Im not sure spellcrafting is implemented like it was on live. On live at Toa/Cata/DR times we did full overcharge with 2*98% and 2*99% jewels, which is quite a risk on uthgard :)

I found some links:
http://www.camelotherald.com/documentat ... rmula.html

3.) According to Mora and the calculator on the Herald, an lvl41 99% item should have 22 imbue points. On Uthgard, hib AF82 leather 99% has 23 imbue points

dunno what's the prob, as soon as you hit 1000 in sc you can make the gems and you can overcharge, getting higher does not influence your chance to boom when overcharging...

it's a lot harder to get 99 and mp gems lately.. dunno why, but i hate overcharging cause i have been spending an average of 8 hours per set on the last 10 armor and weapon sets i had to overcharge, and mostly the low gems are the hardest to get 99% even if all are grey...

oh well, must be my age, but the game gets harder and harder for the people that have to farm, craft and help others, seems like rvr is the only thing that matters on uth.. i liked this server a lot more in the past...

1. it does not affect spellcrafting in any matter as soon as you hit skill 1001 in evocation the chance to oc stays the same

2. hm not sure i dont take that risk anymore since i explode more often with 1% chance too then i do mp stuff with 2% chance ><
99% quali +4 99%quali gems is 1% chance to explode
99% quali +3 99% quali gems and 1 mp 0% "

3. lvl 41 99% armor has 22 imbue points on uthgard (some moras versions are buggy)

freshly crafted etc. I tried to spellcraft it, it has 23 imbue points, which I regard as a bug.

Can you craft some AF82 99% leather in midgard and check on the imbue points?

without craft stone, I'd say 2-3 hours, depending on number of items.
