So I never have been entirely clear on what procs can be put on what, and compounded with my uncertainty as to how the various crafts on Uthgard match up with live I'm a bit stymied.

I'm trying to get setup for a paladin. I am hoping to do solo RvR (when there aren't groups out), group RvR, solo PvE (farming hulks and the like), and group PvE (bomb groups, dragon, etc) with him.

I'm wondering what sort of procs I should use?

Armor:
-for RvR it might be helpful to have damage procs, as Paladin's have good defense but lack the dmg output?
-for PvE it seems ablative procs would be the way to go, especially since I think higher level mobs resist damage procs usually?

Shield:
-I don't even know what I can put on here in terms of reactives
-I assume a dd reactive would work? That would be good for RvR
-for PvE...can an ablative proc be put on a shield?
-is there a reactive lifedrain or heal proc that can go on shields?

Weapon:
-can anything but a dd (or lifedrain) be put on weapons?

also dot proc seem to be very powerful for paladins 1v1 (not sure how good in grp because of mez breaking though)

but most people go 100% ablatives on armor

So for those reactives, any idea if they can all be put on a shield?

Also, the DoT, did you mean for a reactive on shield, or an effect on the weapon? It says it has a range of 300 units on the reactive, whereas many of the dd procs have ranges of 1500. I'm assuming this means the dot won't hit archers but the dd will (if the archers are within the 1500)? Anyone have some experience that can confirm/deny this?

I suppose the range thing is true the dot wont hit but dd will (ofc if archer hits at 300 range the dot will hit :p)

and as dot i meant as effect on weapon

dot = highest dmg increase proc you can get over time

and as for ablative on shield: not sure tbh as i have never played high lvl shield tank on uthgard
