I'd recommend against crafting with a caster. You have to carry quite a lot while crafting, and casters are not really made for that.
Of the 3 crafts you are thinking about, I'd say a tailor has to carry the least. druid/warden/bard would be a better choice for a crafting toon. It's true you need a craftfix, you can find it in this thread: http://www.uthgard-server.net/modules.p ... pic&t=3071 Henrir, Hyrkon, Hrungar & Hiormon Bruagh.

have to agree with H-man
if you really wanna craft on a caster go SC as it will take the least str to carry mats |

Yhe link doesnt work, i choose spellcrafting but the icons oj jewelcrafting there is a "?"....i dont know

SC is in evocation not in jewel crafting

well, I usually carry about 200 pound when crafting on my spellcrafter... too much for a caster Henrir, Hyrkon, Hrungar & Hiormon Bruagh.

a tailor doesn't have to move. he can just buy materials, craft and sell his goods while standing in front of his merchant. if he is encumbered or not, doesn't matter.
i did it myself with a valkyn bonedancer. only for secondary, skills you'll have to move around. low str does matter then though. |
