Are there safe guard if I can scammed when trying to trade across realms? Will a GM appeal be able to get my items back if I do get scamed (plats or items). I am interested in trying out ALB, bit ofcouse I'm a bit skeptical about realm transfers. Thanks.

If you make a screenshot of the trade, i think yes, and note the hour when you do trade, for they can check the logs 2012:<@[Uth]Abydos> If we don't have SI by the end of the year, Im fairly certain I wont be a GM anymore :-p

If you get scammed you would only get back 75% of what they can retrive, so if you trade 50p, get scammed, and he buys stuff for 35p, you will get 75% of 15p. |

Where is that written down? I thought those x-realm trades arent supported?

They are not supported, but scamming is not allowed |

For sure it's not allowed, but since when you get any support and get back your goods/money?
|
|
since always?!

Happened to me about 2 weeks ago, and thats the information abydos gave me. |

We can offer limited returns with proper documentation. Its important to callgm ASAP so we can jail the thief as we want to retrieve the items/plat before they trade it away

GMs have always taken a hard stance against scamming and it helps keep the server free of thieves. This is definitely one of the issues that staff have always worked with players on so good job staff and keep it up. Working with players to help the server is always a good thing. |

I also forgot to mention that you ca set up safe transfers with our trading service. Though we are on sabbatical ATM, we do log in from time to time to facilitate x-realm transfers at the normal rate of 10%. Though since we are limited on time, the transfers have to be worthwhile.
