/!\ Crafting Fix for 1.85+ (english) /!\
|
Under normal circumstances, the craft fix should install automatically when connecting with DAOC Portal. For unsupported operating systems you may need to use modmanager to manually install it. Download it from http://uthgard.net/en/downloads/modmana ... fting-fix/
Please note: +1 all skills / +1 all magic / +all focus gems are no longer available on Uthgard. Last edited by Nayru on Feb 25, 2014 21:22, edited 3 times in total.

I just wanted to say that the crafting fix isnt working for huge parts of alchemy , so its really hard , maybe impossible to skill up atm
|

I just pacthed about 2 weeks ago and I've got no problem with the alchemy.
A friend patched too and got no problem at all. Have you patched correctly? <img src="http://s142473203.onlinehome.fr/daoc/small.php?player=Merry">

I use 1.88 us i also talked to some other alchemists , they have the same problem, maybe its only the low items that are bugged , so you dont see the problem if you are already legendary.
I had no problem too with the first 300 skill steps as long as i could use enamels for skilling , but now i need to craft poisons , and they are all bugged so i cant skill up further |
|
I used to craft without any patch till 700 skills because I started crafting long time ago. And I restarted at that point about 1 month ago. I'm LGM now and never encounter any problems.
I'll test that tonight. Can you tell which items that are bugged on your side? <img src="http://s142473203.onlinehome.fr/daoc/small.php?player=Merry">

Added .DMM for DAoC Mod Mgr
Be nice. :)

If you have problems with '?'-Icons, try patching everything EXCEPT the craftfix, and report if its the cause.
Be nice. :)

Metty,
Thanks for looking into this matter. I patched with the Mod Manager just Tajendi, without the crafter patch. Result was again ?-Icons. It looks like being a problem of the Mod Manager and not the crafter fix. If you apply the crafter fix in the old style (copy in data folder), it works. |
|
same thing happened to me last night. i run the mod manager and got this error: System.Exception: Either the patch progress was interrupted or the client was modified outside of the ModMgr (Patched via camelot.exe?) - Continue? The backup file will be ignored! clicked on "continue" and result was these nice yellow little ??????? everywere >.< |
|
I have the same problem...and i find no way to get the icons back.
I was using the old icons, today i was installing the crafterfix with the modmanager, but there is no way to deinstall the craftfix. I tried to delete the file...and so old icons too...but i have still the ??? - Icons... Is there any way to solve this problem? Its almost impossible to play with the buggy icons... |
|
You should be able to patch again with camelot.exe to get your icons back. After that, don't use ModManager to install the crafting fix - just copy the file ifd.mpk into the data subdirectory manually.
Happy hunting!

ModMgr .dmm works though - and *should* work fine with the DAoC Portal Mod Mgr.
(Note: The originally mod mgr may cause QuestionMark-Icons, try using the one of DAoC Portal instead!) Be nice. :)

Seems the link for the download is broken, or the file is not there anymore, i need to craft waterpots to chase the buffboters on Braemar's waters.
