Item Made by "X" or "X Y"?

Kind of a random question, but I recall when Armorcrafter "John" crafts an item, it will say crafted by "John" in the item description. If John has a second name (I think second names were a part of 1.65) called "Doe," will the item display say item crafted by "John Doe," or is the first name only shown?
