Alchemists can raise SpellCrafting but cannot imbue items?

Is it correct that an Alchemist who also does SpellCrafting as a secondary primary skill, but cannot do SC item combines? It just doesn't let you do any kind of SC combines if you're an Alchemist, despite allowing you to raise your SC skill to 75%.

To be more precise; I have 500 Alchemy, with Spellcrafting raised to about 200, I can create the gems I need - but I cannot actually imbue them unto crafted items, I have to find someone with Spellcrafting as their primary skill to imbue items using the gems I've made.

I just want to know if this is something that has to be reported, or is this working as intended?
