Howdy, i starres daoc 2008 in Uthgard, never played live and only know daoc as it was in uth1, Genesis und uth2. And I loved uth1 till downpatch and I loved genesis because I had the most fun in my daoc exoerience

Thats why i cannot understand the patchpolicy. All I want is a round balanced gaming experience.

I was a rainbow six/rogue spears player back then, but actually stopped playing it when Mplayer was sold to Gamespy. Meanwhile in a boring afternoon November 2001. As I was browsing through my ex forum ( a website "Ladder'' dedicated to rainbow six/rogue spears) . Probably to complain about gamespy.

I saw it.. Screenshot posted by a moron ( that was actually is nickname) ''a moron'' on a QQ thread. I used to play UO, but I skipped EQ.. I was just blown away by the graphics .. So I ask him when this is going to be released.. and he said - It is released !

So I grabbed my coat , my bus pass and went directly to the futureshop ( defunct electronic shop in Quebec Canada)..

They had very few copies left. Installed and played. All day and night. I picked albion first. Made a wizard on Merlin because I was blooming with originality. Did not take long I made a thane because I heard they were overpowered !

It's basically took me 10 month to get to 50. I made so many alt. So many friends.. and was banned so many time from Vnboard.. I lost count

Played live when it first launched. Only played for a month or so before getting distracted and not playing anymore. But I remembered I liked it and I played a shaman and just remember killing a bunch of tomtes and hanging out with people.

Never RvR'd in DAoC but always heard it was good. So I thought I'd try it out here.
