Alot of Alb talk in here
I was debating making a semilar topic for alb, but it feels like kicking someone on the ground so i chose not to.

@Hib leveling BG from yesterday. Danm you guys were unlucky we found you 3 times in one evening, kinda felt bad but couldnt resist the rps. Our group usually roam DF when we get the chance, and same for Marfeck when actions seems to be lacking.

Alb brings out 30 people to hit keeps yesterday and didn’t expect us to Zerg up too? We have been aching for that kind of action. Of course we were going to come out. Some great fights last night at and after the RK, albs! Thanks for the good time!

Ramiye quit too? Damn

Hib is completely dominating RvR for the last couple weeks now, they can do whatever they wants specially late NA early EU time

Well, with how Hib are dominating he'll still get to defend Alb keeps.

I hope you do realise he never really did those door upgrades "for the realm" but just to give himself more uptime fireing at attackers, and then flee when there were no more doors to hide behind.

Him going hib only supports this, albs stopped zerging and claim keeps = no keeps for him to camp. it was never about the realm, only himself

Will be interesting to see if he does the same he did on Alb, bring full stealthgroups to AMG(maybe people forgot about this) and outzerg the other sneaks. Not sure if the AMG "community" recovered from that or if they still stand around look for inc for hours because people got tired of and gave up on coming out.

When I first started DAoC in 2001 I made the choice because Hib just looked the best and had elves. Well maybe not the choice basis I would use for a new game today, but I stuck with it and because of realmpride I would never even consider playing another realm. DAoC Hib it is for life.

Being the underdog, I dunno... Never saw myself this way. On german server Avalon we Hibs did quite well despite being the lowest pop and in my opinion the same goes for Uthgard. I cant speak for the other realms, but at least on our side we have lots of mature and professional players, was the same 17 years ago. And quality over quanitity always worked great for us Hibs.

Classes huh. Obviously I love animist, even though shroom specc its highly situational in RvR and the 50% RP nerf doesnt motivate me to go out much honestly. PvE group choices on Hib are great, RvR you can run different setups successfully. For solo RvR I believe Alb and Mid both got better options, I espacially envy the minstrels because of their amazing toolset to do solo RvR.

But yeah, basically Hib is a great realm and saying we were the underdog is probably rather inaccurate

It's strange how only a handful of us in alb actually take the keeps and defend.

I guess hibs found out after we log you can pretty much walk around with out any resistance.

you are correct to a certain extent, it seems like the same people are defending and taking keeps because well when new people come out to help, they stand around lfg and the others run off leaving them without a group. Those people then log and dont go back!

happened to me 5 times in the last week! toons without speed are just free rps for the Celery and mojo's out there! no thx

Chose Hib because I played Hib on live and was familiar with it and knew where to go. Have characters in both Ex Demise and Blazed. Very active guilds, fun to hang with.

Recently switched to Albion, because I've never played on Albion. Ever. I've run my lowbie cabbie out to meet the Hib zerg a few times and got rightly smacked down by Ex D and Blazed zerg and I aint even mad. Much <3 to my former guildies. Hope to see them more when I'm older!

It ´s ok you kill levling groups in marfach and df.
Anyway don ´t pretend you go there because of lack of action. I saw you 2 days now killing in marfach as the hell was released in frontiers, today it was hadrians with all three realms involved. Ganking level groups is just takeaway-easy rps normally and hard to resist, it ´s no blame just a simple fact.

That's why you should join a guild or find active players. Sadly a lot of the guilds that were or have been around for a while are dead b/c everyone re rolled hib so they can zerg surf while the realm has the relics.

We check marfach daily, same goes for DF. Usually its because we get intell about its zergy in other frontiers and dont find any inc in emain/brefine(like today. Alb+mid+hib zerg in Hadrians). and correctly yesterday we found a whole leveling BG of hibs in there, while there was an alb group leveling one floor further down.

So yeah, instead of complaining about the zergs, we go where the action usually is. DF, marfack, frontiers. We play for 2hours and try to get as much action as possible out of it, and killing a hib BG of 3-4 groups is still a challenge as a single group
