I reached out to some of the hib posters on here via forum PM to get discord contact.
And managed to talk to Topenga from Alb, any other alb BG leaders who would be interrested in forming a ruleset for future event, or chip in on critical points that prevent or might prevent future events to function ![]() I made a draft of how a ruleset could look, with some of the focuspoints future events should touch on in order to make as many as possible enjoy and join in on the fighting. But this is by nomeans the end result and I would love to hear input from Hib and Alb BG representives Split, Romu, Poler? Bunni, Eithne, MT-pear? <<Bombling>> - Supp SM Lvl 50 - RR 7L0

Hello friends,
I´ve just a question regarding Rule of Uthgard 2.8:
Is what happen here in line with this rule? You folks want to create a ruleset for future events with enemy-bg leader seems a cooperation and sounds as arranged fights... Danke Uthgard für 10 Jahre

the draft I made for the ruleset is based around the following subjects: - Date/time/zone for zerg event, and how long before it should be announced (to prevent headstart involving the BGs. normal rvr can still happend on the side) - Relics, on or off the table + how long before and after the event they cant be touched (gentlemans agreement) - Xrealming and how to prevent it. - Goal of the event, get as many player as possible to attend and not just RvR ready 50s with high RR. I dont think any of this goes against the Server rules, since its pretty much how the events have been so far just with alot of missunderstandings of Start for the actual event, zone, relics Y/N. etc. The only thing that will be arranged when it comes to the actual fighting is that there will be random numbers from each side in the same zoneregion beating on eachother. <<Bombling>> - Supp SM Lvl 50 - RR 7L0

I think those kind of events are dead on uthgard. Midgard has always more people and people leave after serveral wipes. No rules or agreement can compensate that and it is no fun to wipe the whole evening against superial numbers. The only realm that has fun on open field events is midgard.
I am not a friend of agreements of "leaders", why should everyone follow the agreement of some persons? Look at the last event, midis raided all keeps in alb so we had to go back to defend our relic. We planned to come back after clearing our fz, but got wiped by the mid-bg who ran directly to the loc we posted in bg for gathering. Looked very fishy to me, we lost half of our bg because of that. Your stream showed that information from our bg were given to you, and it looks like you used them. Crossrealming got a very big problem on uthgard lately. If you do an open rvr bg you can be sure all informtion you give is read by your enemies. It even works very well to give false information to the bg, that makes me feel very sad. I always want to give the weak and unwanted classes an oportunity to do rvr, but that becomes more and more difficult. I will not do any agreements for any events, too many times agreements were broken and i dont trust those agreements any more. I will also not lead such kind of zerg events in the future. But i will always use an opportunity to fight for my realm. |

100% agree. The highest RR people on the server regularly xrealm, swap information, and set up their arena style 8v8 fights. They regularly cooperate with the enemy realms. <Bushido>

So since this is suuuuch a big deal for albs, lets actually look at the details: Eorkern was an active albion viewer on my livestream with 10min delay. I shared the midgard BG numbers and /who emain on stream. And since I didnt block my ingame chatwindows the viewers could see these numbers regardless(since i did /bg count & /who emain during the whole time). And I chose not to block this information out, because it is good evidence for post-debate when people start crying and you need hard facts. Here you can see the twitchchat, what was said. Notice how the twitchchat is talking about Moonwolf (MID) BG is doing their own thing and not part of the Event BG in Emain. It is indeed mentioned that the ALB BG has changed frontier, BUT you can see and hear on this timestamp that us MIDs in the EventBG do not react to Alb being in a different frontier before we actually see the Renaris killspam. (first link below) you can clearly tell how supriced we were to see you regrouping up on the hilltop here(2nd link below), and how we are talking about what keep you might be on. The only intell/crossrealm/traitory, is that we knew you were in Alb frontier. And that info was shared because you goddanm HOSTED a Battlegroup Event, and then took that BG away from the very zone you had called out as battlefield. We merely reacted when we saw the killspam. We didnt get any intell like this "alb bg moved to own frontier to take keeps back and will be regrouping on Eaglenest border between Hadrians/penn". We were out all dressed up for this party we were invited to, and when you took the dancing to the kitchen instead of the dancefloor we just followed. But I unfortuneatly agree with one thing, midgard has supperior numbers and that seem to be the biggest thing preventing these events to function. https://www.twitch.tv/videos/239437234?t=01h37m31s https://www.twitch.tv/videos/239437234?t=01h50m33s <<Bombling>> - Supp SM Lvl 50 - RR 7L0

lol @twich.tv - mid zerg run through hadrians without stopping 3 times for rebuffing or 10 circles for slacker... /joking
I think you'l see yourself running over those few Albs. That's no fun at all and no fight. Gwyneth, Gwynefer, Naiba, Takhi, Gwyntreth, StarletKristina, Talvi, Mousebear

I hate to agree on Romu for this, because it sounds defeatist, but this kind of event is doomed to fail untill active rvr pop is equal. You cant expect mids to shut out people if the numbers are to high, or expect those shut out to not form their own BG and raid forcing people back to defend.
Fun can be universal for all realms, but as it is now albs dont seem to have fun. Albion and having fun

Privous fight in Emain took 5mins from first engage till end, how were we supposed to know it was only 30 or so in Hadrians. Also kinda ironic how you mention fun-factor. When this is pretty much 90% of how the general Midgardian feel about Albs all other evenings outside of these Events. So payback felt good dear friend!
100% agree that outnumbering is the biggest reason these events will kill the action before anything else. However, half of Romu's post was covered in salty tears, just like Topenga's, about Mids basicly knowing that albs were not porting back to Emain... And I serioustly struggle to see how that is such a big deal.. Just like previous events have been about all other complains than actual outnumbering: Lag, relics, classballance etc. And now again after this event, we have to hear about crossrealming and other lame excuses. fecking hell just say you failed recruit, didnt manage to lead the tropps, and couldnt keep people in line ![]() The whole server was invited to EMAIN almost two months prior to this event. How is it our fault that albs didnt show and organize better (previous coments about not managing to keep the alb BG together and not having full force in the fights vs mid BG) Also the kickoff for the event was set later than usual to have the NA albs included, again not our fault they didnt show. And as Liah meantioned a page or two back, How come Albs can gather 100+ for Relic attacks on a weekday but cant show for a preplanned event (?) You have the population on albion to match the 110 mids we mustered. But instead I have to shoot down crazy statements about cross realming ![]() <<Bombling>> - Supp SM Lvl 50 - RR 7L0
