Please keep your toxic stuff away. I don't care about class balance issues or any of that other garbage. There are lots of threads with that on this board.

I'm here to talk about fun and why this game can be more fun than any game ever made imo. The RvR of late has been awesome. Thanks for all the fun and bringing your best. How about we talk about the good stuff for once? Life has more than enough whining by whiners. :) I just love bolting people. I can't wait to bolt some more Albs tonight!

Agreed, RvR has been very active lately and it's been an amazing time. Special shoutouts to Splitquick/Jessamynn ;)

Thanks for the kind words and good times guys :)

It's funny because it usually feels like we're the ones playing cat and mouse and trying to avoid the larger or more powerful realm forces out. So it's nice to hear you guys sometimes feel like Alb isn't the underdog.

We do our best to make Albs presence known, even if /relic (and while I was busy /realm :hammer: ) doesn't always tell that story.

Alb, from my past experience (a few servers on launch/live), has always been the realm with no relics, no big RvR presence, and overall, realm-wide, seemingly no real desire to change that situation from anyone.

We formed We Play for Keeps on Uth2 with the goal of uniting Alb, painting the frontiers red, taking/holding relics, kicking ass, and chewing bubblegum. And we're all out of bubblegum. 8)

Just moments ago, 11:30 AM CET / 5:30 AM EDT the Albs got the 3rd strength relic home. They capatured all the Mid homeland keeps so there were few delegate guards, took the Alb str relic home and then the Mid str relic and finally the Hib str relic.

Well played! A small force CAN make a big difference on these quiet time of day raids.

Alot of us albs stayed up stupidly late to get the relics home when we realised we'd managed to outlast the mods. Going to be hurting tomorrow lol. Thanks to all who came out. Mids put up a really strong defense even with their lower numbers. If they'd managed to get some of their keeps back and had tougher guards doubt we would have pulled it off

Excellent fights tonight

Some people need to go to work but that's part of the game and taking advantage of realm not being able to defend is a strategy too. Arsenal lifted our relics from Midgard rk back in 2003, on Merlin at 5 AM, was guild only raid, private emails were sent out to avoid spies. Worked like a charm.

Albion was and always will be an underdog. Underdog, not necessarily means you have less numbers. In case of Albion, you need a zerg, you need 2x numbers of other realms to compete. If Midgard was as united as Albion, there would be no contest but that's not the case so we must pay for it…

Leading a paper armor casters and bucket wearing avalonians is not an easy job, however, salute Splitquick for doing it with such a resolution.

We'll get relics back and more, eventually ;)

Many of the US East Coast Mids have jobs and can't stay on that late on Monday morning. Of course the EU players were already at work. I'm guessing this raid was mostly by US West Coast players?

IMO, it isn't cheesey to hit your opponents on a Sunday Night / Monday Morning after most have logged. It's just clever tactics.

North American Albs shouldn't write checks that EU Albs can't cash!

Well what? Mids were lacking defenders, 1 lvl 50 healer online in Jordheim, crafting :)

Have fun Albs, we meet us soon, once it is our (EU)primetime. :)

Grats to the albs for taking the relics home, and also grats to the Uthgard team.

Nothing will ever be perfect, but considering the fact Uthgard is a personal project with limited resources, relics that switch hand like that on a regular basis is definitely a sign of a healthy server.

It's good to hear such positive feedback from players of all realms.
