I used to think my PA's got evaded aswell.
However you problably just missed your PA ( lag or positioning was a little off ) and it only looks like your PA got evaded in the log.

What probably happened: your PA failed and your unstyled swing got evaded.

Bah :)

sounds logically...what happened: stealthed in Df and noticed that norse in stealth behind me..so next target, stick and "8" ( PA)...both unstealthed now and later i read in log: u prepare perforat artery....XXX evades your attack.

But is this not working like it should?

I only thought PA should penetrate BT, not that it could not miss/be evaded/parried/blocked/fumbled.

A properly performed PA cannot be missed, blocked, parried, evaded, BT'd, etc. If one of these happens, you did not perform it correctly, likely the front positional requirement was not met, often due to lag/server latency in bang bang situations, e.g. two stealthers seeing each other or a quick turn to get infront of someone. Again, if your PA doesnt land, you performed it incorrectly. factoring in the amount of time it takes for directional orientation to update to allow a successful PA through lag/latency is something most assasins get used to over time.

Does the server update position faster than movement?

For example i regularly get the msg i cant build ram while moving, or cant sit while moving.

This can sometimes take 10+ seconds to update.

10+ seconds? Is it possible you are exaggerating there? That sounds unlikely except under extreme lag or some packetloss.

Sometimes when I craft I get told by the game to stand still... while I'm already sitting down. Takes about 3-4 seconds to actually start crafting. Dunno if this could possibly be related though!

No, 10+ seconds of standing still isnt unusual, 3-5 seconds is normal.

I dont have issues outside of standing still and maybe stafing, cause im not sure how timing on that works, but i try to wait till style lands, then strafe to side and do side style, but will get stafing in combat msg even though 1-2 seconds pass between strafe and attack

One solid way I avoid this delay is to use /face before committing to an action.
