Abydos Game Master Posts: 6839 Joined: Jan 22, 2011 21:14	by Abydos » Dec 18, 2011 18:27 Today at 8:00 PM CET (2:00 PM EST, 11:00 AM PST) an NPC will arrive in Cotswold, Mag Mell, and Mularn named "Santa's Little Elf". Use this NPC to be transported to the Christmas 2011 event. The festivities include activities for all players. First, there is an RVR-centric event that will be open for 3 hours. Once inside, you can bind by right clicking the bind stone next to the channeler. It is important to bind, as the teleport will be disabled well in advance of the end of the event to prevent realm switching. Settlers from your realm have begun braving a new frontier to establish an outpost in honor of your realm. The enemy realms have also been trying to gain a foothold. Score 1 point by killing the enemy commander or 5 points capturing the enemy princess! The realm with the most points wins. Santa's little elf has more details. For those who do not wish to participate in this event, you can teleport to Uthgard's "X-mas Land" zone. During the event, teleport speak to the channeler and ask to go to the North Pole. After the event concludes, we will leave this zone open until 12/31/2011 and have a few different small events there. Merry Christmas and see you on the battlefield!

Anyway ty for that event, was big and fun. But pls just hand out uthalis at the end next time, this is done in 5min everyone gets the same so its fair as well. And it just takes 5min

Alb - Eternitys, Eternityz, Spectres, Prophecy, Phantasm, Swarm Mid - Spheres, Cicada, Aalea Eternitys - If were allowing custom changes, why would the staff choose to remove a very very good and highly accepted custom change such as barrels? Then on top of that, use the "it's livelike" excuse as a reason for removing them? If staff are so concerned about livelike and that's the direction the staff wish to go, I'd fully support a 100% livelike server. However if there are custom changes on the server, then using the "livelike" excuse is being nothing more then hypocritical. Staff - Locked!
