There will be a group of people out there who will want this realm to be entirely Mythic-like. Exactly like vanilla, drop rates/xp rates, basically everything and you will not be able to please them unless it is exactly like vanilla. These people have their nostalgia goggles on so tight it's cutting off the bloodflow to their brain and they believe that vanilla was perfect and nothing was wrong with it.

For a freeshard, thats a record. Now Staff have to choose what is better for the server. Satisfy the old players by letting server how it is, have their max 200 players at prime time and rest of the day around 80-100 ? Or Please the new players that want to start here, and get the 1000+ ppl they could get by doing this wipe ? Even high rr ppl could be happy by this wipe, clearly, will bring more ppl here, more ppl to fight. With the server closed for sometimes, gms will have 100% of their time they share on uthgard for work on the RA, SI, and what others thing they have to do instead of deal with angry ppl here :p, and thats a good thing 2012:<@[Uth]Abydos> If we don't have SI by the end of the year, Im fairly certain I wont be a GM anymore :-p

Sadly i dont have the time to play and grow like did in the past, and losing all that work and effort i put into both all my chars crafters houses and Guild it would take me years to get that back. Ty again Blue and Nayru for always answering my PMs and bring very good memorys. in away i used your house, to make a good Family here on uthgard, and I'll miss each and every one of you! I don't care if its a "one time" situation or not, I spent 3-4 years of my life sitting here working on a toon and whats to stop this from happening again years down the road. I understand somethings might be nerf'd or removed, but if you wipe the server I will not be back.

Just a few ideas, how about battle grounds for all the divisions from 1 to 50 ... this way ppl can choose to level in rvr besides pve Keep the higher skill gain like last weekend for a while so people can move back up so we arent grinding constantly. Bring down the cost of crafting so we can do it for less then a million plat lol

But as it has been said, this is Blue's server, he can do as he wishes. I can only say, if you wipe this server, I will not be back. I have worked too hard to get my toons where they are and frankly, I don't want to start over. And if anyone thinks this will "fix" the issues between "new" and "old" players, you are sadly mistaken, wait 5 years. We will be right back where we are now. So when some "new" players come here and cry about how unfair it is that there are players who have been here a long time and have money and items they don't have, what do you do then?
