b) Server is free. Don't expect your characters to live there forever.
c) ****** happens. Get over it.
d) If anything is lost, it's only virtual. Keep your nervous breakdown for real life.

Better thank the people who devote their time (precious as well) and their money to maintain this server, instead of spitting in their faces because you "lost" something you didn't pay for.

You assume too much.

a) Only making backups every half a week or so is kind of a crazy gamble when you know the server goes up in smoke every two weeks
b) Even when it's free, it should be running
c) People will, but it's ever so slightly easier when you're not losing like 20+ hrs of game time or even a complete character, in case you just started
d) All those oh-so non-existant and virtual items take some pretty real time to get in the first place

I appreciate the fact that there's a free server out there and I'd love to put in even more time to be part of the growing community, but if I'm forced to wait for a week to make sure my achievements dont disappear whenever the hosters hardware feels like loosing it, it won't keep me interested for too long.

this is sad - hope you get it up soon glad i just lost a repair on my armor - a few (around 50k) rps and I think thats it

havent rvred much last days - however - wonder when i got those barrels made hmm QQ

Do backups every reboot and everyone will be happier for sure. It's not the first rollback so its not something that we cant bear.

This is a free shard. and the uthgard team over all does a great job in keeping this server going.

If i lose 3 days of my hard work so be it ^^ I know its not the GMs fault, they have lives as wel.l if they got paid for keeping the servers up then thats a different story. we should just be happy we dont lose all are chars :+)

Agreed. However there still would be some people who would complain about the server being offline too much long on daily backups. We can't have everything.

I spent about 30 hours on game during the last 3 days. So what? I didn't loose them, I had them. I take my pleasure on the current time play, period.

It's just a game. The purpose of a game is to be played, not to achieve anything.

Well yes and no, you can't play the Agramon RvR game decently without achieving several factors first, the more you've achieved, the funner it is to play.
