Ok, do give some answers ...

- these horses are an achievement and as a logic consequence -> expensive

- the quests were tested and do work. However, the quest "Riding to war!" can only be done by one player per realm at a given time. The reason is a technical respawn-issue.

- the RAsystem will by no means get customised. It is classic RAsystem OR NF RAsystem. I know that in classic times players often mourned about certain RAs, but to be honest it was by far more better balanced than the current NFsystem. Afte we did some research we will open a discussion topic about that matter.

already the the fact that most ras have a 30min timer makes it more balanced alot

I guess i'll be looking forward to this discussion thread. I fear an unaltered system will be a mistake however.

Perhaps this already asked or mentioned in this forum, but i don't have all the time to read everything on it.

How will implementing the old RA's inflict ower RA's we have now and the points we've spent in them?
Will all chars throughout the server get a RA respec before the implementing or ...?

Furthermore i think i'm probably in the big portion of people who don't know what the old RA's include, is there any ressemblences with the once we have now or ...?
Is there any possibilty you could put them in post so we can look them up and learn about them?

And as last i would i like to address to all forum moderators and GM's,
plz don't only listen to these forums most players don't even know they exist or just wanna game without concerns, so if 100 players on this forum say it should be done that means only minus 15% of the gamers think like that.
And its even most likely that the players posting here are only the hard core players that played this to long to much (no offence though) or players that think they are left behind within the game ...

Indeed Bloodwyne. When I played on live servers (launch till NF) the RAs were used as some kind of "last stand ability", as an emergency parachute when things went badly wrong.

Purge for example. Our guildmates always used to firstly asked: "Demezzer free?"; if yes they waited to get demezzed. if no they asked if the demezzer is purging; if no and demezzer could not purge, they purged.

ya, me and my friend are actualy thinking the old ra system would be intresting. We will not mind the True Sight, and no more assasins with viper. Expt the NS, but hes ares :D . And Avoid Pain will be nice for us ranger, along with the nightshade getting it too lol. I hope everyone understands the requirements on alot of the ablities. You cant just grab extra cast speed, you also need other aug ras first. So the cost for many Ras is really high. Like i think Ignore Pain is 14 points, plus you need First Aid L2. Which is 9, so if you want IP , youl need to spend 23 point, and its 100% heal, then 30 min down time lol. For purge, its only 10 points, but 30 min reuse. And if you want Mastery of the Arts 5, youl have to spend 44 points on that and Aug Acuity 3. But yes, its ether new or old RAs not a combined one. That will just tailor to some classes, and cause real issues.

Now i got a question, now i know the staff talked about nerfing the charges or removing them, and they nerf them. Now if we went to 1.65 or what ever with Old Ras, will we keep the nerfed Charges or just remove all Stat charges ? Since im not sure what the effect was of charges back then, with classic Ras. I know alot of people claimed they wanted charges because of toa Ra system. But if we go to old RAs, that is a diff issue. Just remember, if you do , there will be whinning, but im sure you know that. Not from me of course lol

at first : i agree with zipp ...

and i think that the few special ras could change the whole rvr. with old ras: how can you beat a mid grp ? really, i dont know ... grp purge is nice ...maybe against the instant ae mezz at the inc...if you kill a healer...pr 100% life/mana... and against a grp with 2 or 3 healer ...
the mid-only aotg is just funny too :P ...with 3 zerker or svg in the assisttrain... and dont tell me that am could heal the incoming dmg ..or twf could stop the dettanks...

how do you kill an alb grp ? ... old-ra sos worked in the way that the grp is under speed .. and dont lost speed even if they hit an enemy..

and a hib grp ? ...they have 2 or 3 times grp purge, am , and maybe twf
really nice ..you can easily avoid the first mezz ...but how do you make dmg^^

just few thoughts to the topic (think the most ppl dont share my opinion)

I thought the horses were meant as an help to the solo/small man community to bring more action and not another trophy for high RR/good farmers?

This one IS usable in RvR.

250g, lvl35 - 135%Speed
1P, lvl45 - 135%Speed, RvR
6P, lvl45, Quest1 - 154%Speed
15P, RR5, Quest1&2 - 154%Speed, RvR
30P, RR10, Quest1&2 - 154%Speed, RvR

Different Armors and Bardings for the higher horses might come in the future.

So, the common way will be: Get a small RvR horse for one platin asap. And later, when you are RR5+ and can afford it, get the big RvR horse for 15p.

I agree that the 6P horse is not worth it's money atm. But this might change if we manage to implement saddlebags.

Sounds very interesting, but you will need very much time to implement it. While why you dont implement again what we had some weeks ago. Haldan said that server has 600-700 players every day, but if the situation will not change with new changes, server will lost this players.

And i have other question. If now we will spend a lot of money in horses and in future you will implement 1.65 patch, will you remove rvr horses??????

sorry i missed that horse - indeed it is viable to get horses for rvr then - sorry for my whining :roll:

however the 6p for non rvr horse is.. well.. kinda unusable when i can get a 1p hourse and use in rvr with a bit lower speed :p but ye - as u said might change with saddle bags
