You can't have a buffbot, but you can have buff pots that essentially do the same thing? It boggles the mind really.... almost as much as having charge tanks without a counter. :P

Remember ranger was designed for bow and not for melee. And pd5 is insane if you dont spec viper3. But i agree if ranger has purge down after long stun he will die for sure, but only if he was stuned when he has 20% hp and when stun finish he cant use ip and rr5^^.

I dont get the point. So a ranger needs to be gimp in melee only why he is able to spec bow? He also can spec celtic dual with refers to offensive abilites like blademasters.

I would trade pd for parry spec too anytime.:D Parry is stronger anyway because you still get hitted with pd, that means more poison and more possible procs.

Ronian, your whole argument is basically "Rangers aren't OP because some times you can kill us if our actives are down."

No ranger dont needs to be gimp in melee. But ranger can´t have the best from all spec lines too. Compare ranger with hunter or scout. Ranger has celtic dual, bow, damage add, pd, ip, strong rr5, best mele damage, best bow damage, and you say that you want have evade 7.

No, I said I would trade PD (that RA everyone cries about) vs a basic parry spec or evade 7). Look, PD is a very good ability but you have to read carefully. PD means you still get hitted that means dot/dd procs, damadd effects and poison reapply. If I miss 4-5 (like evades) of my mainhand I will wipe no matter if my goodies are up vs a good playing assassin and that happens often.

It is really funny because sometimes Rangers make to much bow damage. The other day IP or PD is too op and in the end they cry all about the side stun.

I agree that the buffs of the Hunter buff line arent that good as they are of us Rangers, but the pet is a very good tool to kite other players. So you cant compare that.

@Seyha
There are many classes that can kill rangers if the actives are down. You should go exp and see yourself. Next topic will be please nerf xyz in the end (like... spiritmaster or other stuff. There were fights a spiritmaster didnt wanted to fight me and in the end did cc me 4 times without having to use qc and yes, I was in melee range or did use my bow)

I never said that ip is op. In my opinion only pd5 makes them really insane enemie. If ranger has pd4 is hard but not insane.

Viper3 and pd5 are designed for toa bonuses that we havent. For pd we have not leg weapons and for viper we have not 3000hp.

You never have played live, have you? I mean that you could get minor abilities on live called champion levels, like resist buffs for melee classes and this counter is not available on Uthgard and wont be available in future.

In the past there were leg weapons and they would make PD useless her. I have 3 casters and 1 ranger lvl50. So both would be effected by this decision. Reavers and Assassins were op with leg weapons, this is my opinion.

And I have to say that thoughness vs one players is as good or sometimes better than pd. On the other hand pd shows its full advantage.

Then dont think about it.

Or think about it some more till you notice the difference.

Havent visible solo/smallman suffered enough without removing or further gimping buffs?

This is a game where you have choices.
Not just zerg or fg...

Denying ppl their playstyle is simply wrong!

heheh i roll my sb with only purge and mos, gonna go for purge 3 and mos5 before i spec anything else. only potion i carry is lvl 40 normal heal. i tend to have about a 100% loss rate against a pd4 or pd5 ranger, which i'd say is about 80% of rangers. but, if they ever go to OF RAs i'll know how to play and all the rangers will have to learn. i find most rangers on uth just spamming anytimes, not using their chains. if they didnt have pd they wouldnt know what to do i think.

Pots and Charges

To state if it hits: will it hurt my Ranger? ( removing them will only give Rangers and Hunters more of advantage my ranger will still get 63 dex instead of 77 Lol while every one else Nothin )
Not realy it will make it easyer for Rangers even with old value PD. to win 1vs1. VS other stealthers. VS other none stealthers with a buffer i think I'll log for the night/week.

but what about my Hero? My BM? my Ment? My NS? ( aye i have too many alts and should have just made 1 RR10 char lol )

When im on 80% of the time i need to run solo becuase theres no one else to group up with. those charges and pots that are NERFED already gives me some chance to get a few rps.

Can we realy compare Buffbots to Charges/pot?

Buffbots = were unfair to a few becuase not every person could have a buffbot.

Charges/pots= with just some effort and time, with A budy you can pretty much get all the basic charges ( that i use, i dont have str/con yet. )
And pots lol how long does it take to make a 500-700 skill alchy?

Get ride of the charges/pots then i might as well not try to RvR unless i have a Druid/bard cose by.

im sorry but most people that /cry about charges/pots probly are the ones that are just too lazy to get them.

They Already been Nerfed, lol Nerfing somthing -->THAT<-- every one can get. Thats the Difference.

Or problably cause imbalance classes with autobuffs like friars , wardens or similars?

Yes friars was designed to compete with self buffs vs unbuffed ppl but here any assasin run unbuffed making that class underpowered by far.for example.

That's why on live server, classes were regulary nerfed or up.that's why catacombs classes apear,to compete with buffed players. But this server don't seems to adapt to that kind of problems, coming for gameplay abuse.

That's the same problem with new/old RA. Alb got better RA (on old RA) ,like sos or vanish for example, but worst classes than hib/mid,like healer and bard who are healer and mezzer at same time.If all realm got same RA,than Alb is nerfed.
The only ones who don't want to go back to old RA are mid/hib players mainly, and mostly their stealthers.
